Officer's mess (mealtime) on board the Frazier. The Captain is at the head of the table and the Executive Officer (2nd in command) is at his right. The other officers (at decreasing rank) are at the table toward the camera. Seas were calm at the time since no stanchions were installed to keep chairs from sliding across the floor as the ship rolled.
